English and French Canadian rights to Dan Falk’s The Science of Shakespeare: How Art and Literature Were Transformed by the Scientific Revolution have been sold to Goose Lane Books for publication in Spring 2014, concurrent with the US edition from Thomas Dunne Books by Shaun Bradley.

William Shakespeare lived at a time when the medieval world – a world of magic, astrology, witchcraft, and superstition of all kinds – was beginning to bend to more modern ways of thinking.
