Transatlantic welcomes author Catherine Glazer! Catherine practices U.S. immigration law in Toronto. Her articles have been published in the Globe and Mail, The National Post, Abroad View Magazine and Canadian Musician Magazine, and she is authoring a research paper on the future of undocumented minors for publication by Rice University’s Baker Institute, The Center for the United States and Mexico, in connection with a project on immigration reform to be presented to the U.S. government in early 2021. Catherine has worked for the International Organization for Migration and the Nansen Initiative for Cross-Border Displacement in Geneva, and has consulted for the Norwegian Refugee Council. She has also worked in Costa Rica, Spain and Puerto Rico. She holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies and a J.D. from the University of Michigan, where she received the Hessel E. Yntema Award for excelling in International and Comparative Law and the Dean’s Public Service Award for dedication to the public interest.
