World English rights for FOUR-LETTER WORDS sold to Rebecca Rose of Breakwater Books by Samantha Haywood of the Transatlantic Agency. The fabulous new collection from Newfoundland’s CBC Emerging Artist award-winner Chad Pelley, who has also been shortlisted for both the ReLit and CAA Emerging Writer awards, features a cast of
characters longing for something they’ll never have. Funny, sad, or funny-sad, the men and women in this collection are all haunted by one four-letter word or another. The 14 stories in the collection have won or been shortlisted for nine awards, and have appeared in journals such as Prairie Fire, The Antigonish Review, and Found Press.
