Eva Oakes is the Editorial & Agent Assistant to Samantha Haywood, President and Literary Agent at the Transatlantic Agency.
Originally from Colorado, Eva earned her BA from McGill University and now resides in Toronto. She began her work for Samantha Haywood at the Transatlantic Agency in 2022 as reader and today in her role as Editorial & Agent Assistant to Samantha Haywood, Eva supports Samantha and her author clients during the editorial and submission process. Eva brings to her work a lifelong love of reading and a keen eye for editing and finds fulfillment in the prospect of helping writers.
