English Canadian rights to Pauline Dakin’s childhood memoir, RUN, HIDE, REPEAT, have been sold to Diane Turbide, Publishing Director at Penguin Books Canada, for publication in the fall of 2017.  This is the riveting story of a childhood steeped in unexplained fear and bizarre behavior as her family runs from the mafia.  It reads like a thriller — complete with hit-men, doubles, and undercover agents.  Pauline Dakin is a Halifax-based journalist who has worked in television, radio, film, and print. She is the Senior Producer of Current Affairs Programming for CBC Nova Scotia, the host of the regional documentary program, “Atlantic Voice,” and was the long-time network health reporter for CBC National News.
