Senior Agent and Partner, Marie Campbell is retiring from her career in agenting. Marie joined the Transatlantic 15 years ago in 2003 and played a pivotal role in the growth and success of the agency’s Children’s & YA Division. She has agreed to remain on as an advisor to the agency. Her former clients, including Teresa Toten, Eric Walters, Caroline Pignat and Kit Pearson, have received awards recognition from every part of Canada, including the Governor General’s Literary Award and the Canadian Library Association’s Book of the Year Award. A former editor, in-house rights manager, and instructor at Ryerson University’s Publishing Program, she has worked in publishing for over 30 years.
