Huge congratulations to Jess Taylor for the nomination of her short story, “Bachelorette Hellhole” for a Pushcart Prize.

The Pushcart Prize, established in 1976, gathers the best poetry and short stories published by small presses and literary journals in an anthology printed every year, and awards a prize for the winner in each category. Jess Taylor is a Toronto writer and poet. She founded The Emerging Writers Reading Series in 2012. Pauls, her first collection of stories, was published by Book*hug Press in 2015. The title story from the collection, “Paul,” received the 2013 Gold Fiction National Magazine Award. She lives in Toronto.
