Tessa Woodward of William Morrow has acquired World rights to The Restoration of All Things by Libbie Grant, a novel based on the true and thoroughly documented—but vigorously suppressed—history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Following the life and struggle of Emma Smith, the first wife of  the religion’s founder Joseph Smith, the novel has strong themes of female empowerment, the fight for women’s equality, and the intrusion of religion into politics.

Libbie M. Grant is a bestselling author of historical fiction under the pen name Olivia Hawker. The deal was arranged by Carolyn Forde of Transatlantic Agency, with publication for late 2021/early 2022.
