We are so pleased to welcome Katherine Alexandra Harvey to Transatlantic! Katherine began writing short stories and poetry as a child. She obtained her Bachelor and Master of Arts in Folklore, before transitioning into a career in writing. She was long-listed for the Carter V. Cooper Literary Award (2019), and long-listed for the Writer’s Association of NL FISH award (2020). Her editorial team was also short-listed for the Governor General’s History Award for their work on the Oral History Roadshow Project. Harvey’s work has been published or is forthcoming in various journals, including Riddle Fence, The Newfoundland Quarterly and Exile Literary Journal. She currently resides in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
