Transatlantic is delighted to welcome Allyson McOuat. 

Allyson (she/her) is a writer with essays published in the New York Times Modern Love column, The Globe and Mail and Plenitude Magazine. Before she started writing essays and fiction, Allyson studied Theatre at York University and started her career working in Creative Development and Production on several of the top mega musicals of our time. Currently, she works with her 4 siblings at their family advertising agency as a copywriter, podcast producer and social media content creator.  

An LGBTQ+, diversity and inclusion proponent, Allyson has provided grant writing and communications for artists and organizations and served as the first General Manager for the Toronto arm of the ReelAbilities Film Festival. 

Allyson is represented by Carolyn Forde, Senior Literary Agent at Transatlantic Agency.
