Scott Alexander Jones is a writer and a longtime copyeditor for Penguin Random House and other publishers. Born in Texas, he has lived all over, from Oregon to New Zealand. He holds an MFA from the University of Montana and was a writer-in-residence at the Montana Artists Refuge, where he wrote a poetry book, elsewhere (Black Lawrence Press, 2014). As a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America and the Horror Writers Association, he has copyedited works by Hugo and Nebula Award winners and nominees. As an avid outdoorsperson, he has hiked hundreds of miles of backcountry in the American West, as well as the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage across Spain. He lives in Prague with his wife and daughter.
