Samantha Haywood is delighted to announce that Cody Caetano has been promoted to Associate Agent at the Transatlantic Agency representing fiction and nonfiction, particularly championing new Anishinaabe and First Nations voices. Cody will be open to submissions in Summer 2021, client list mandates stated below his bio. Cody is also the Receivables and Royalties Clerk, having started with the Transatlantic in the fall of 2019 to cover Contracts Administrator Laura Cook’s one year maternity leave.

Cody Caetano is an award-winning writer whose debut memoir Half-Bads in White Regalia is forthcoming from Hamish Hamilton/Penguin Canada in 2022.

Says Haywood: “Cody is a multitalented publishing professional, who quickly became an essential colleague to all of us at the Transatlantic Agency. I am thrilled that he is driven to grow his career as an agent and we are all keen to work with him in that capacity, alongside his important role as the Receivable and Royalties Clerk. The fact that Cody is also an award-winning writer will likely only further serve his talents to spot and nurture great writers as an agent.”
