We are looking for interns who can commit 15-20 hours a week and who are available for virtual meetings during business hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The internship will run three months, from May 31st to August 20th. Interns will receive a monthly stipend. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, and will be flexible on hours and dates for the right candidate.

Preference will be given to applicants with:

  • Strong writing and editorial skills
  • Office experience and professionalism
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and social media platforms
  • Interest in pursuing a career in publishing
  • Current reading in genres such as literary, thrillers/suspense, book club, speculative, historical, young adult, middle grade, picture book

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a final deadline of April 6th. Please send a resume, cover letter, and brief writing sample to Devon Halliday: devon@transatlanticagency.com. Please indicate any desired area of focus (adult lit, kid lit, sub rights) in your cover letter. For the writing sample, please write a paragraph or two evaluating a recently published book (2018 or later) in the genre of your interest.
