Transatlantic welcomes author Catherine Glazer! Catherine practices U.S. immigration law in Toronto and consults for the Norwegian Refugee Council. Her writing has been published in the Globe and Mail, The National Post, Abroad View Magazine and Canadian Musician Magazine, and she is the author of a research paper on immigration reform and the future of DACA, published by Rice University’s Baker Institute Center for the United States and Mexico, to be presented to the Biden administration. Catherine has worked for the International Organization for Migration and the Nansen Initiative for Cross-Border Displacement in Geneva and has worked in Costa Rica, Spain and Puerto Rico. She holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies and a J.D. from the University of Michigan, where she received the Hessel E. Yntema Award for excelling in International and Comparative Law and the Dean’s Public Service Award for dedication to the public interest.
