We’re pleased to welcome Corinna Chong to Transatlantic and to congratulate her on being among the five writers shortlisted for the CBC Short Story Prize! Her story, “Kids in Kindergarten,” was selected by a jury comprised of Souvankham Thammavongsa, Craig Davidson and Lee Maracle, who will also select the winner, to be announced this week on April 29. 

Corinna Chong lives and writes in Kelowna, BC. Her first novel, Belinda’s Rings, was published in 2013, and her reviews and short fiction have been published in magazines across Canada, including Room, The Humber Literary Review, The Malahat Review, Cosmonauts Avenue, and Grain. She teaches English and fine arts at Okanagan College.
