July is the award-winning author of Trailer Trash, and Via Negativa, which Publishers Weekly called “stunning” in a starred review. Her most recent work can be found in McSweeney’s, DIAGRAM, The National Poetry Review, Prairie Schooner, CALYX, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and The Huffington Post, among others. July was named the 2019 Poetry Fellow at the University of Arizona and has been the recipient of support from Poets & Writers, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Writing X Writers. She lays her head in Brooklyn, but keeps her heart in her native California.
