This list is the result of work by the 101 Great Books for Kids committee at Evanston Public Library and represents some of the best books of the year that they believe should not be missed!

Kyra Teis is a children’s book author-illustrator, a graphic novelist, and an avid sewer of costumes. She is represented by Elizabeth Bennett.
