Yasemin Uçar at Kids Can Press has acquired two new middle grade verse novels by Heather Smith in a deal for World rights. SAFE & SOUND and BITS & PIECES are companion novels to EBB & FLOW, which won the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award. SAFE & SOUND is scheduled for publication in 2023 and BITS & PIECES for 2024. Amy Tompkins at the Transatlantic Agency handled the deal.
