Shoshana von Blanckensee is a veteran of the original Sister Spit Ramblin’ Roadshow. She’s participated in the San Francisco LitCrawl and received the William Dickey Fellowship in poetry from San Francisco State University. Her work has appeared in MUTHA Magazine and the anthologies Working Sex, and Baby Remember My Name.

Her Debut novel a queer coming-of-age story written in seven parts that follows the journey, return, and new journey of HANNAH, a young Jewish femme dyke that crosses from sleepy Long Beach, New York to San Francisco, California in the summer and fall of 1996 in search of freedom, acceptance, and love. 

Shoshana is an oncology nurse by day and a writer by any available moment. She lives in Berkeley, California, with her partner, kids, and a couple of adorable rescue dogs.Shoshana is represented by @Chelene Knight.
