Meg is an award-winning writer and educator who has worked in the arts and entertainment industry for fifteen years. She tells stories that show the beauty, vulnerability, and humor of the human experience with love, empathy, joy, and an incredibly truthful quirkiness. Through her work with PBS, she has worked with The Jim Henson Company, The Fred Rogers Company, Children’s Television Workshop (Sesame Street), the team of Downton Abbey, among others. Through theater she has used storytelling as a medium for empowerment and healing in many communities, but her heart has always been in working with those in high violence/high crime areas as well as within the prison system. She also uses writing for women’s rights activism, and was featured in Al Jazeera for International Women’s Day 2021.
