Transatlantic extends a warm welcome to Vincent Anioke!

Vincent is a software engineer at Google and a writer. Born and raised in Nigeria, he currently resides in Canada. His stories and essays have appeared in MIT Technology Review, SmokeLong Quarterly, The Masters Review, and Carve, among others. He has won the 2021 Austin Clarke Fiction Prize, been shortlisted for the 2021 Commonwealth Short Story Prize, was named a semifinalist for both the 2022 RBC prize and the 2021 CBC Short Story contest, been twice nominated for 2022 Best of the Net and nominated 4 times for the Pushcart Prize in 2021 and 2022, a semifinalist for the 2022 RBC Brownwen Wallace Award, and a Best Microfiction 2022 nomination.
