We are excited to announce that Rotem Moscovich at Knopf has acquired world rights for Ode to Grapefruit: How James Earl Jones Found His Voice, written by Speech Pathologist Kari Lavelle, and illustrated by Caldecott Honoree Bryan Collier.
This picture book biography tells the story of James Earl Jones, a stutterer who finds his voice through poetry after not speaking for eight years as a child. Publication is scheduled for Summer 2024.
