We are elated to announce that Vincent Anioke’s stellar short story collection PERFECT LITTLE ANGELS has been acquired by Brian Lam of Arsenal Pulp Press for publication that is planned for Spring 2024!

PERFECT LITTLE ANGELS touches on themes of power inequality, group dynamics, tradition clashing against the realities of our world, and the courage it can sometimes take to be honest about who we really are.

Born and raised in Nigeria, Vincent currently resides in Canada. His stories and essays have appeared in MIT Technology Review, SmokeLong Quarterly, The Masters Review, and Carve, among others. He won the 2021 Austin Clarke Fiction Prize, was shortlisted for the 2021 Commonwealth Short Story Prize, was a semifinalist for both the 2022 RBC prize and the 2021 CBC Short Story contest, has been twice nominated for 2022 Best of the Net and nominated a total of 4 times for the Pushcart Prize in 2021 and 2022, he was also a semifinalist for the 2022 RBC Brownwen Wallace Award, and received a Best Microfiction 2022 nomination.

The deal was arranged by Carolyn Forde.

Congratulations Vincent!
