Emma Knight is a writer, journalist and entrepreneur based in Toronto, Ontario. Emma’s writing about books, maternal health and more has appeared in Literary Hub, British VOGUE, The Globe and Mail, The Walrus and The International New York Times. 

She is a co-creator and co-host of the culture podcast, FANFARE. Emma has written two cookbooks published by Penguin Random House, HOW TO EAT WITH ONE HAND: RECIPES AND OTHER NOURISHMENT FOR NEW AND EXPECTANT PARENTS (2021) and THE GREENHOUSE COOKBOOK (2017). 

In 2014, Emma co-founded an organic beverage company called Greenhouse, which over the last decade has grown from a single shop in Toronto into a multi-award-winning, vertically integrated business that has sold tens of millions of bottles across Canada and is now launching in the United States. 

Emma studied Modern Languages at the University of Edinburgh and has an MA in Journalism and an MSc. in International Development from Sciences Po, Paris. While in Paris, Emma worked for The New York Times and the World Association of Newspapers.
