Transatlantic is excited to welcome Lea Love!

Lea Love is a writer, blogger, and advocate for victims of domestic violence. She teaches Write From Your Heart: From Wounded to Warrior – a free, women’s creative writing workshop offered to shelters and transition homes. She’s an intuitive guide, visionary, and mystic, and uses storytelling and comedic relief to bring light and love to the human experience.

Lea’s a moderator for the Federation of BC Writers’ – The Write Stuff, Writer Summit, and Writing Intensive, and has been a keynote speaker for International Women’s Day at the University of the Fraser Valley. She’s participated in the Human Library Organization as a featured writer and is a member of PEN Canada and the Federation of BC Writers.

In Lea’s gripping memoir HIDDEN, she recounts the harrowing story of her journey fleeing from intimate partner violence, and the ends to which a mother will go to keep her child safe. Told with honesty, humour, and frankness, HIDDEN is a saga of motherhood, self-reflection, and fierce love, and is currently on submission.

She lives in the countryside of the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, Canada.

Lea is represented by Marilyn Biderman and Alexandra D’Amico.
