Kylie Niedermeyer is a Xicana fantasy author of Germanic and Mexican descent. As the daughter of an adopted Mexican immigrant, her work traverses the intersection of her identities and family history, as well lesser-known Mexican and German folklore. She is writing a historical fantasy inspired by the P’urhépechan legend of Princess Eréndira, set during the Spanish colonization of Mexico.

Kylie holds a doctorate of clinical psychology and works as a Jungian psychologist in private practice, investigating dreams. She lives with her husband and two dogs in Washington state, nestled between the mountains and the sea, and is most likely strapped into a climbing harness or pair of skis.

Kylie is represented by Brenna English-Loeb.
