Emma Cleary is a writer and editor living in Vancouver, BC. Her short fiction and essays have been published in Best British Short Stories, James Baldwin Review, and Canadian Literature, among other places. She is editor-in-chief at Geist magazine and former managing editor of PRISM international. From Liverpool in the UK, she loves maps, poetry, comics, and community gardens.

Emma holds a PhD in literature and recently graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, where she developed a collection of weird fiction and a poetry chapbook. She is currently working on her debut novel, All Those Strangers, a queer literary horror novel about sisters, monsters, and art, planned for submission later this year.
