Cheri Radke has been a librarian, bookseller, and academic coordinator, with a passion for linguistics and fantasy worlds. Her first novel, THE SILVER SERPENT OF SUMMER, a cozy fantasy with an unsettling edge, written in a witty, Regency-esque style, follows Teddy, Lord of the Summer Isle, as he grapples with middle age, lost love, and dragons.

Cheri has a degree in Linguistics from New York University and a master’s in Library Science from Kent State. She has worked for the University of California in a variety of library and academic support roles for over ten years. She lives in Woodland, California.
