George Sully is an award-winning, multidisciplinary Toronto-based designer, and the founder/creative director of the luxury travel accessories brand Sully & Son Co. His footwear and travel bags have adorned Canada’s most iconic and prestigious retailers, including Harry Rosen, Holt Renfrew, and Hudson’s Bay, and Saks Fifth Avenue U.S. Prior to Sully & Son Co, he founded Limb Apparel, and co-founded TCHAD Magazine, Sully Wong Shoes, and House of Hayla. 

In 2020, he founded Black Designers of Canada (BDoC), Canada’s first-ever all-inclusive index of Canadian black designers in Canadian fashion history. His contributions to the Canadian fashion industry led to him being awarded a bevy of honours, including the CAFA Change-maker Award, George Brown Honorary Degree, FGI Visionary Award, BATA Shoe Museum Inductee, NOTABLE Designer of the Year and Shifter Magazines Outstanding Black Men in Canada list, just to name a few.

George is currently writing a memoir that delves into his extensive career in the arts, exploring how systemic racism within the Canadian fashion industry has shaped his professional journey.
